Cereal Dating
by Eddie Fox
Back in October, I attended the 7th annual West Hollywood Book Fair. People from all walks of life merged to celebrate the written and the performing arts. It was an eclectic Indie experience! Theatrical performances were hosted at Robertson Theater courtyard, as well as story telling and dramatic readings by artist. Leslia Anne Moore, from The Greater Los Angeles Writers Society, read excerpts from her debut Romantic Fantasy Novel, "Griffin's Daughter," (You should check it out, when you get a minute). There was a dramatic reading of the Play "The Moons Of Kashar, a fable for Our Times." The play was written by actress Doriane Poretz; all of which was performed in free verse. I wish I had a video of it all to share, but I don't. I Searched YOUTUBE, and zilch, nada. But, I did find a copy of Eddie Fox's (one of the performers) live mike performance of the poem, "Cereal Dating."It's and older recording but, just as great!
